Sealing gaskets can be divided into two categories based on their material: metal sealing gaskets and non-metal sealing gaskets. Metal sealing gaskets include copper gaskets, stainless steel gaskets, iron gaskets, and aluminum gaskets, etc; Non metallic sealing gaskets include asbestos gaskets, non asbestos gaskets, paper gaskets, and rubber gaskets. In addition, there are also semi metallic gaskets composed of both non-metallic and metallic materials, such as wrapped gaskets and metal coated gaskets, which have good sealing performance. 12
Different types of sealing gaskets are suitable for different working conditions. For example, non-metallic gaskets such as asbestos rubber sheet gaskets and PTFE coated gaskets are suitable for lower pressures (≤ 4.0Mpa) and a certain temperature range (-50 ºC to 400 ºC). Half metal gaskets are suitable for environments with higher pressures (P ≤ 25Mpa) and high temperatures (T ≤ 600 ºC).
The manufacturing process of sealing gaskets includes cutting, stamping, and cutting. These processes ensure the accuracy and applicability of the sealing gasket, enabling it to effectively seal various mechanical equipment and pipelines.
