Chemical plasticizers are a type of rubber processing aid used in the rubber thermoplastic process to increase the speed (efficiency) of plasticizing. They can not only improve plasticizing efficiency, but also reduce the temperature at which the process begins. Especially for natural rubber, the use of chemical plasticizers can effectively reduce rubber molecular weight, shorten plasticizing time, reduce energy consumption, improve production efficiency, and also improve storage efficiencComparative analysis of the effects and differences between environmentally friendly plasticizers RP-66 and pentachlorothiophenol during plasticizing and mixing. The results showed that the environmentally friendly plasticizer RP-66 has significant effects on improving the plasticizing effect of rubber materials, reducing energy consumption in rubber processing, enhancing the processability of rubber materials, and improving the wear resistance and dynamic mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber. It is an ideal environmentally friendly material to replace pentachlorothiophenol.Comparative analysis of the effects and differences between environmentally friendly plasticizers RP-66 and pentachlorothiophenol during plasticizing and mixing.
